Bio-Dialectic

A wordless conversation with the body.

Bio-Dialectic is the hands-on work and teaching of Secret.

  1. It begins with conversation.

You share your concerns and what you are working on in life.

  2. The body settles into stillness.

From there, the work moves into relaxation and stillness. In Bio-Dialectic, stillness is the fulcrum for change.

  3. The practitioner listens to what the body has to say.

In the stillness, the practitioner senses movements of energy, fluid and oscillation. Where an area is out of sync, it stands out. The work becomes a dialogue with the Breath of Life acting in the body. Its aim is to help that part re-integrate with the whole.

Keli Secret Fine, Secret to some and Keli to others, grew up in San Francisco practicing yoga from early childhood. She danced from the age of five, trained with the San Francisco Ballet School, and later owned the Petaluma Dance Theatre, where she choreographed and taught.

Dancing in New York in the late 1980s, she found GYROTONIC® at White Cloud Studio and studied with its creator, Juliu Horvath. She became a master trainer and led teacher trainings. Back in San Francisco from 1990, she took up yoga with Ramanand Patel and Kofi Busia, and began teaching yoga in 2000. Her study widened into Body-Mind Centering with Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, embryology, Thai massage and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.

Bio-Dialectic is where all of it meets: a wordless conversation with the body, drawn from everything she has studied and practiced. Her workshops and teacher trainings have taken her to the United States, Europe and India.

A pattern can seem to dissolve, and then return. It is like peeling an onion. There is no short cut. The work needs patience and trust: being open and quiet enough to allow the intelligence of True Nature to do its work.

Begin with stillness.

A few quiet minutes, in your own time, with Secret's voice to guide you. It is free, and it is a good first step.
